In your life you will have to have to have teamwork. Teamwork is important because if you work separately someone can do something wrong and that is going to hurt the whole group. Working as a team will help everyone in life because if I worked at MC Donald’s and if I was the only employee I would have to do a lot of work.  If I was the only employee I would collapse because of all the work! I would have to make the food, take orders, clean the trays and give the food to the right costumer. That is a lot of work for one person! That would result to burnt food, dirty trays, and mixed up orders. What I mean by mixed up orders is that if one person orders a hamburger and fries and another person orders a cheeseburger and a soda, one person would get a hamburger and a soda, while the other person gets a cheeseburger and fries.

So far in the apprentice (a school project) I have learned that teamwork makes things easier and that the more people you have in a group the more ideas the group will have to use. Also you can also blend to or more ideas together to get one great project. Another thing I have learned is that it is almost impossible to accomplish some things without a team to help. For example, it is hard to play a game of football without a team. Don’t you think that it would be hard to score if there is nobody on your “team” to pass the ball to and if a member of the other team gets the ball it would be hard to get it back. The main point of post is that teamwork is important for several reasons and it is a great thing to have! :) Please leave a comment in the comment section and in your comment please rate my post 0 - 5 stars, 5 being the best.                    Having a Good Spirit

For the past month or so my English class has been doing this little friendly competition called the apprentice. If you have read my blog post called Apprentice Week One, you know what the apprentice is. If you haven't the apprentice is a competition were there are four "companies"s, Apex ( my company ), Excel , Hydra and Synergy. We all do tasks and go to a board room meeting to present our work. C.E.O Mr. Poole and who ever else comes decides who will win. (C.E.O Mr. Poole is my teacher.)

The task for last week was to think of places to advertise Spoole Cola in the categories audio ( radio, computer), video ( commercial ), unconventional ( public bus, movie commercials ) and print ( news paper, magazine) and then find info that proves that it is a good place to advertise Spoole cola. If you don't get what I mean when I said movie commercials, I meant that we put them before the movie. Each person would have to be in charge of one thing. I was in charge of audio ads. Each group also had a different target audience than the other three groups. My group's target audience was children ages three to nine. Since I have a ten year old brother I thought he would still be some good help finding out what websites he really liked. He told me Disney.com. I need more than that so I also went on the internet. The other three that I found was Nick.com, Club penguin.com and Pbskis.org. When the day came that we had to perform, Hydra won. I was very sad but I knew that my group still had a chance even though we haven't won a single board room meeting. It wasn't to bad though because my group  got 25 points for having a back up plan. We had a prezee ( a power point ) but it didn't work so we used our Google presentation. I know you might be saying that we are probably a bad group, but I know that Apex can win this and we will keep trying our best to do just that! We will win! Good luck to the other groups though.

Feel free to leave a comment telling me how my post was even if you didn't like it. If you didn't like it tell me what I can change to make it better. Thanks for reading my post! :)

Applications Are For My Parents Not For Me

Should kids in middle school and high school have to apply for elective classes?
A Large School Bus - Royalty Free Clipart PictureIn case you don't know what a elective is it's a class like band, art, Spanish, etc.

I'm in middle school and I know I wouldn't like to make a resume for a class like Spanish or art. I'm not good at art but, I would like to be and if I had to make a resume to take that class, I would never learn how to a good artist. Same thing with others, if they had to make a resume for a class they have no experience what so ever in they would never get in and they would never learn that certain thing they want to. Now that I think about it schools wouldn't be schools if students had to apply for a class they had no experience with. I can understand that schools want kids that have experience playing a instrument in band and orchestra but, it's not like the schools are going up against each other to see who has the best drawers. I know that I speak for all middle and high school students when I say that students shouldn't have to apply for elective classes.

Some people might have different point of views depending whether the situation affects you or not but, I know that if you were in middle school or high school you wouldn't like the fact that you would have to apply for a certain class. Join the argument by leaving a comment with your thoughts on the topic. :)

                             A Sticky Situation
Freak the Mighty     In the book Freak the mighty, Freak (Kevin) and Max face many situations especially in their childhoods. That is what I am going to tell you about. Freak was born with a disease that made his insides grow faster than his outsides. Even though it sounds really sad and you would think that it's hard to live that way but, Freak over came his disease and lived as if he didn't have that horribly disease. Freak would always have these crutches to help walk, but again that never stopped him from living a normal life just like yours and mines. Freak was a very brave and smart kid and I hope he knows that ( even if he isn't real ).

Now for Max. Max wasn't very bright when he was a toddler. When he went to day care he would play games he made up like Kick teacher and other games that were called kick ______. I'm sure you  can guess how you would play. I think Max was like that because Max's dad is in jail, his father killed his mother, and kids gave him nick names like Kicker, Maxi-pad and other mean names. Even though Max sounds like he is a mean person, ever since Freak came along he became more sensitive.
Well Freak the mighty did have it's ups and downs but in the end it's all about Freak. Read the book to find out what I mean. Trust me the book was amazing!
